Ingredients
  

  • 1- 1½ cup kale (start with 1 cup and adjust to your taste)
  • 1- 1½ cup cubes of frozen mango (if you don't have frozen mango add ice to the blender. Smoothie will be less creamy though)
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger (minced)
  • 1- 1 ½ limes (juiced; start with 1 and adjust to your taste)
  • 1-2 cups water (start with 1 cup, if too thick add more water)
  • 1 handful fresh mint leaves
  • 1-2 tbsp chia seeds (optional; leave them out if you have picky eaters)

Method
 

  1. Add ½ of the water plus all other ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth. Now add more water and blend until you have reached the right consistency.
  2. Taste the smoothie. Add honey or more mango if not sweet enough. Add more lime juice if not tart enough.
  3. Pour smoothie in a glass. Decorate the glass (optional). Enjoy your smoothie!
