A delicious, wholesome, greens-packed-smoothie. Serve it at breakfast or as a afternoon snack. Energy boost guaranteed!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 1 banana (frozen)
  • 1 handful greens (of choice; for example kale, chard, spinach, etc or a mix)
  • ¼ cup almond meal (I grind raw almonds myself in a food processor, but store bought works great as well)
  • ¼-½ medium size avocado
  • 1 handful peppermint leaves
  • ¾ cup coconut milk
  • 1/8 cup honey (optional for sweetness, sub agave nectar if vegan)

Method
 

  1. Add ½ of the coconut milk plus all other ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth. Now add the rest of the coconut milk and blend some more.
  2. Taste the smoothie. Add (more) honey if not sweet enough. Add more lime juice if not tart enough.
  3. Pour smoothie in a glass. Decorate the glass (optional). Enjoy your smoothie!
