The dressing
- Add all the dressing ingredients to a dressing shaker (a tall container with lid works as well) and shake to combine.
The salad
- I use a big salad bowl to combine all the salad ingredients - strawberries, cubes of watermelon, mint and/or basil - in with salad thongs. To make this a dinner salad, I often add cucumber slices, lamb's lettuce (or other mild, soft lettuce) and even cooked and cooled quinoa to it.
- Add some of the dressing to the salad and combine the dressing and the salad with salad thongs. Serve the rest of the dressing on the side.
