Total Time 5 minutes mins
Date paste:
- 20 large pitted dates
- 2-4 tbsp warm water (start with just 1 tbsp. If too thick to blend add more water)
- pinch fine grain sea salt
Add dates and salt to the highspeed blender and blend into small pieces.
Now add just a bit of warm water to blend it into a thick paste, scraping down the sides periodically. Add more water if too thick, but not too much. You don't want it to be too liquidy.
Keep in mind that you will only need a small amount of date paste for the brownie nice cream. You can make less date paste by cutting the amounts in half or refrigerate/freeze in small batches for future use.
