Dragon's blood

A purple smoothie made with dragon fruit (pitaya), frozen bananas, lime juice and pineapple.

Equipment

  • High speed blender or food processor

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup frozen dragon fruit (I cut dragonfruit ahead of time and freeze the cubes to always have frozen dragonfruit on hand)
  • 2 bananas (frozen)
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 cup pineapple (cubed)

Garnishing:

  • 2 slices pineapple (1 for each glass)
  • 2 slices lime (1 for each glass)

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in a blender/food processor and blend until smooth. Add a bit of water if it is to thick to blend.
  • Serve in a tall glass and garnish with pineapple and/or lime (optional).
