Ingredients
  

  • 1 lime (juiced)
  • 1 banana (frozen)
  • 1 handful greens (of choice; for example kale, chard, spinach, etc or a mix)
  • ¼ cup almond meal (I grind raw almonds myself in a food processor, but store bought works great as well)
  • ¼-½ medium size avocado
  • 1 handful peppermint leaves
  • ¾ cup coconut milk
  • 1/8 cup honey (optional for sweetness, sub agave nectar if vegan)

Instructions
 

  • Add ½ of the coconut milk plus all other ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth. Now add the rest of the coconut milk and blend some more.
  • Taste the smoothie. Add (more) honey if not sweet enough. Add more lime juice if not tart enough.
  • Pour smoothie in a glass. Decorate the glass (optional). Enjoy your smoothie!
