Chocolate banana breakfast smoothie

Avocado smoothies are a great way to get your kids to consume their daily dose of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. The bananas and cocoa powder make this one taste like a dessert in stead of a breakfast smoothie! SWOON!

Ingredients
  

  • ½ medium sized avocado
  • 2 medium sized frozen bananas
  • ¼ cup almond butter
  • 1 cup oat milk
  • 2 tbsp oats
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1-2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

Optional:

  • 1 tbsp agave nectar (or sub honey or maple syrup)

Instructions
 

  • Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend into a smoothie consistency. Only add water if the blender can't get the ingredients to blend.
  • Divide the smoothie over 2 glasses.
